Haven’t You Heard? We’re Moving!

In just ONE WEEK we’re going to be moving to our brand new training centre!

Don’t worry though! It’s only down the road from where we already are in Leeds, and the Huntingdon branch is staying where it is.

Why We’re Moving

Our original buildings in Leeds both served us incredibly well, but as our cohorts grew and our provision expanded, it became clear that our apprentices needed a larger, more specialised environment.

Our move is driven by three things:

  1. Growth of our apprenticeship programme
With intake numbers rising and repeat employer engagement continuing to strengthen, we needed a space that allowed us to increase capacity while still delivering the same supportive experience we’re known for.
  2. Industry demand for skilled, compliant technicians
The skills gap across fire and security continues to widen. Employers need confident, competent technicians and they need them now. Our new space helps us train more apprentices, more effectively.
  3. Our commitment to our motto: learn, grow, evolve.
We preach continuous improvement, so it’s only right that our environment evolves too!

Our move is a celebration of our growth, our team, our apprentices, and our employers. And of the exciting future ahead of us!

Inside Our New Academy

Our new centre will offer a modern, professional, and welcoming space built with our apprentices in mind. Right now (yes, this very second) we have builders working on:

State-of-the-art work simulation training pods: Our new practical training pods will feature fantastic equipment from leading manufacturers! They’ll allow apprentices to experience an on-site environment while safely practicing in our academy, just like the ones in our old building. (Only this time bigger and better!)

Expanded Workshop Zones & Classrooms: With three rooms dedicated to practical and up to five for theory, our apprentices will have more space for interactive and collaborative learning.

Community & Breakout Areas: Spaces for apprentices to study, connect and recharge with a dedicated kitchen and break area.

Improved Accessibility & Safety Features: We’re designing our building with compliance and safety in mind – with some of our apprentices being given the opportunity to install our own fire and security systems!

What This Move Means for Apprentices & Employers

More space means more opportunities.

This space will give our apprentices a more realistic training environment with better access to skills practice. There are more opportunities to collaborate and learn in a space they feel proud to train in.

For employers, the new Leeds HQ represents greater cohort availability, more intake options, and a richer training experience for their apprentices.

If you’re interested in becoming or taking on an apprentice, our January 2026 intake is open!

Come and See It For Yourself!

We’d love to welcome apprentices, potential apprentices, employers, partners, and industry colleagues to visit our new Leeds HQ!

We’ll be doing an official open day once we’re settled, but if you’re interested in seeing how it’s going, feel free to contact us!
