What is the Electrician Apprenticeship?
The Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship provides the knowledge, practical skills and industry experience needed to become a qualified electrician.
Working alongside experienced professionals, apprentices learn how to install, inspect, test, maintain and fault-find on electrical systems in domestic, commercial and industrial environments. Combined with structured off-the-job training, the programme develops confident, competent electricians who are ready to meet the needs of today’s evolving electrical industry.
Whether you’re starting your career or looking to develop existing employees, this apprenticeship provides a recognised route into one of the UK’s most in-demand engineering professions.
Qualification: Level 3 (Equivalent to A Levels at grades A-E)
Duration: 4 years

Salary: Paid apprenticeship
What to Expect on the Electrician Apprenticeship
Apprentices can expect to work on-site with an employer and attend our academy for theory two days per month.
This gives them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a workplace environment, as well as within some classroom-based work.
