What is the Fire & Security Apprenticeship?
The Fire & Security industry is responsible for protecting people, property and businesses through the installation, maintenance and servicing of life safety and security systems. As demand for skilled engineers continues to grow, employers are increasingly looking for professionals with both technical knowledge and practical experience.
Our Level 3 Fire, Emergency and Security Systems (FESS) Apprenticeship provides learners with the opportunity to earn while they learn, developing the skills required to become a competent Fire & Security Engineer. Apprentices combine real workplace experience with structured learning, building the confidence to install, commission, maintain and service a wide range of Fire & Security systems.
Qualification: Level 3 (Equivalent to A Levels at grades A-E)
Duration: 36 months
Suitable for: New recruits & existing employees
Salary: Paid apprenticeship
What to Expect on the FESS Apprenticeship
Apprentices can expect to work on-site with an employer and attend our academy for theory two days per month.
This gives them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a workplace environment, as well as within some classroom-based work.
